On June 16, 2018 KISCO hosted a Technical Seminar at the Lotte Legend Hotel in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. We have been conducting regular technical seminars in Vietnam and Bangladesh since 2015. The theme of the 2018 Vietnam seminar was “High Performance and Sustainability”. The seminar was attended by a total of 110 people representing manufacturers, dealers and distributors of products. Vietnamese local retailers represented over 60% of total attendees.
The focus of the seminar was KISCO’s ‘Eco-dyeing technology’. Following the opening remarks from the Vietnamese local distributors we introduced KISCO and our ECO Sustainability and ECO Dyeing technologies. This was followed by a question and answer session. Through this seminar many new customers, including major Vietnamese manufacturers, were introduced to our main products and our response to environmental issues. It was a great opportunity to further improve our brand image and build new partnerships.
On the same day, Mr. Heung-Joon Kim, Chairman of KISCO, attended the seminar and explained that KISCO has made a lot of effort to invest in R&D for developing new products and processes so that our customers can gain more competitiveness.
The seminar also saw the introduction of 6 new products that deliver cost savings through process improvement, hazardous substance reduction through ECO friendly dyeing technologies. Customers were also given information about the causes and solutions for commonly seen problems. KISCO received good feedback from all those who attended the seminar.
