On March 8th, KISCO visited the Korean Red Cross Society located in Jung-gu, Seoul and donated KRW 140,030,000 to support the earthquake relief efforts in Türkiye. KISCO Group employees also expressed their heartfelt condolences, hoping that warm comfort will reach the people of Türkiye
Prior to the donation ceremony, there was a meeting with Lee Sang-cheon, the Secretary-General of the Red Cross, who expressed his gratitude for the large donation from KISCO and the dedication of its employees, stating that they will make every effort to ensure that the funds raised are used urgently to support the earthquake victims.
The donated funds will be directly supported by the Red Cross in Türkiye
KISCO’s donation is not only a company-level contribution, but also includes donation funds raised through voluntary participation from its employees, including Chairman Kim Heung-jun and President Cho Sungyoung, making it even more meaningful.
Türkiye, which suffered significant damage from the recent earthquake, is where KISCO’s dye manufacturing joint venture company, KimSoy, and its partner company, Eksoy, as well as major ink customer AIT, are located. This makes the earthquake disaster all the more impactful to KISCO and its employees, who have had deep ties and active cooperation with the region.
Once again, we hope that those affected by the earthquake will not lose their strength, and we express our gratitude to the management and employees of KISCO who have contributed with warm hearts.
